| Writing poems is a really great way to get some of your emotions out. If you allow your emotions to fester and build up inside they can cause a great deal of pain both long and short term and even run over into your following relationships. To preven this from happening to you why not put pen to paper and start drafting out a few relationship poems. The golden rule however is not to send them to your ex, just keep them for yourself as reminders of your release from them.
Darling In the past-I know I treated you bad-sometimes I made you cry,
I could'nt see, how it was only hurting me-because the tears were'nt in MY eyes Then you went away- you said you could'nt stand to stay another day:I did'nt understand
The tables turned, thoat's how I learned_I played with fire and I was burned:Now I'm a lonely man...who's Trying to get back-back into your heart again Trying to get back-hoping we could start again Trying to get back- offering a love that's new There is nothing I won't do-Trying to get back to you... There was a time, all that was on my mind was pleasing you We were so in love-and although times were tough-somehow wwe made it thru Then I broke your heart- all we built together then was torn apart-we lost our romance When I let you go, how could I know-that lonliness would hurt me so Please...give me one more chance...I'm Trying to get back-back into your arms again Trying to get back- hoping we could start again Trying to get back-offering a love brand new trying to get back-I'll do what you want me to trying to get back to you... Forgiveness Poem: For My Devil In Disguise For all of the times we laughed and cried, for all of the times we sang and slept, for all of the times we were together I would never have thought you'd have said what you said. For each of the roses I gave to you For each of the tear drops I cried over you For each of the moments my heart wouldn't relent for each of those moments and the great money I spent I would never have thought it would have ended in this way for each of those times I may have been wrong for each of those times I felt you belong for each of those moments of your soft gentle touch for each of those passion moments of desire and lust I would never have thought we'd remain so apart It would kill me to think I would break your heart When all is said and done and the words of this poem are far gone I'll not forget the moments we shared or even regret the great heart ache I beared I will not regret the great love of my life I will only regret that you are not my wife Gone but not forgotten Welded into my heart from top to bottom intertwined with my soul but inseperably vacant wanting to share but so desperatly cut off OK, then why not go ahead and write your own forgiveness poems as a way to release the stranglehold of your ex.
